If you knew me way back in 1998, you might recall I was talking about the evolution in the relationship between an organization and its customers, moving beyond Frequency Programs and building upon the proto-online communities that had recently emerged. I called this "Cohesion Marketing."
As the world turned, Community became part of the zeitgeist, and technology evolved several times over.
Now moving beyond the question of "What is a community?" it's become time to ask, "What are a community's assets*, and how do we build, use, and store them?"
